LEADERSHIP SEMINAR CONDUCTED

WVSU, Iloilo City- a very pleasant experience was added into our lives during the Leadership Seminar Workshop spearheaded by SMA John Phillip Dolorfino last August 1, 2008. Our external affairs adviser, Dr. Ryan ED Comuelo gave as a truly inspiring and unforgettable talk. One of the events that I mostly enjoyed was the chance for us, the new members of the order to have fun with the senior residents in the parlor games.
As the highlight of the affair, we the Batch 32 had a chance to prove our unity and decisiveness as we were tested in the teambuilding activity. Truly, we learned a lot on how to work together and accomplish the seemingly impossible tasks.
The night was capped with an open forum to express our emotions to everything that we went through. Perhaps, the memories that we had in this event is one of the most memorable experiences in our lives.

Order of Asclepius: 32 years of Existence

It is our great honor and pride to proclaim that it has been thirty-two years since the foundation of the Order of Asclepius. This organization was founded by the class of 1976, the second batch since the establishment of the WVSU-College of Medicine, then composed of 54 men and women. They formulated, lived and abide by the seven tenets that somehow molded them to be who they are now. The ancient greek god of healing, Asclepius modeled them in achieving one of its goals, SERVICE.
