Dawn of a Transpersonal
Adventure

by Kristine Suaverde

He longed to see the sunset
To remember the kiss of the sun to the sea
But instead he stands by the window, wistful
Seeing only the moon, shining brightly now
He listens to the music only he could hear
And in a sudden instant
Memories of yesterday flashed in a spectrum
Blinding him ‘til tears drowned his eyes
Releasing all the pain he kept inside

His soul, still troubled’
constantly seeks the love he ever wanted
He made his presence strong and known
Into a silent night he crashed and burned
Scribbled some words on the whitewashed wall
And he left his orchestra to play a haunting tune
Full of emotions he has lost somewhere to continually remind those still breathing
Of the dawn so beautiful and so right
